Melissa Treinkman is a singer and voice teacher based in Los Angeles. Melissa made her LA Opera solo debut in the 2013 production of Carmen and was a featured singer in the 2017 GRAMMY winning recording of The Ghosts of Versailles.
Melissa earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 2019. An ardent pedagogue, her scholarly articles have been published in the Journal of Singing and she frequently presents on the speaking and singing voice. Melissa was the 2020 recipient of the Voice Foundation's Sataloff Award for Young Investigators and she was the first researcher to win the award in the category of vocal pedagogy.
